What’s the difference between exchange & purchasing CO2 canisters?

Understanding the differences between exchanging CO2 canisters and purchasing spares can help you choose the best option for your needs. Here’s a breakdown of both processes:

Exchange Process

  • How it works: When you have empty CO2 canisters, you can send them back to us in pairs. Once your Refill Box is scanned by FedEx, we send you two pre-filled canisters directly to your door.
  • Cost efficiency: By exchanging two empty canisters for two full ones, we only charge you for the CO2 itself, which is $XX.XX per canister. This process is both economical and environmentally friendly.

Purchasing New Canisters

  • Ideal for new users: If you are a first-time canister customer without empties to exchange, you can purchase brand new canisters from us.
  • Adding to your collection: New canisters are also great if you need extra ones to keep in rotation or as a backup.
  • Pricing: New canisters are more expensive than exchanged ones because no empty canisters are returned to us. This reflects the cost of the canister itself along with the CO2 inside.
